Antony Cairns attended The London College of Printing where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in photography in 2002. Cairns currently lives and works in London, England where he was born in 1980. Appearances in solo and group exhibitions include Tate Modern, UK, International Center of Photography, New York, NY, Akio Nagasawa Gallery, Tokyo, Japan, Stieglitz 19, Antwerp, Belgium, The Photographer’s Gallery, London, England, and the Stedelijk Museum Breda, The Netherlands. His work can be found in the George Eastman Collection, Rochester, New York. Publications include CTY from Cairns and Simon Baker, published in 2018 by Morel Books and TYO2 published by GOLIGA in 2017. A 2019 HyudaiCard Gapado Artist in Residence, Cairns received the Images Vevey Special Jury Prize in 2017 and International Collotype Competition Hariban Award in 2015.
